Glass Break Sensor

COURIER FUNCTION

Courier function allows the engine to continue running indeﬁnitely

while the system is armed. For more information talk with your AVS

installer.

1. Leave the key on in the ignition with the car running and exit the

vehicle. Make sure the doors, bonnet and boot are shut.

2. Push the

button on the remote to arm the alarm as normal.

The engine will continue to run. After 3 seconds the LED starts

ﬂashing to indicate the alarm is armed.

3. If the alarm detects an intrusion the alarm will immobilise the

engine and the siren will sound (AVS S5/S4).

4. Upon returning to the vehicle push the

button on the

remote to disarm the alarm as normal. The alarm will disarm and

the doors unlock (if optional central locking installed) allowing

you to enter the car and drive away.

ANTI HI-JACK

This feature is designed to help prevent car theft through car

jackingortheftofthekeysandalarmremotebyutilisingacovert

switch.Therearetwoantihi-jackoptions:

1. If a car door is opened while the ignition is on a covert switch

needs to be pressed within one minute or the alarm will sound

and the car will be immobilised.

2. Any time the ignition is turned on the covert switch needs to be

pressedwithinoneminutetocancelanti-hijackmode.

With either option if the covert button is not pressed within one

minutethevehiclewillenteranti-hijackmode.Thealarmwillsound

and the fuel pump immobiliser will engage, shutting the engine off.

To exit anti-hijack mode turn the ignition OFF then back to ON

and press the covert switch. Alternatively enter your PIN code. The

alarmwilldisarmandexitanti-hijackmode.
